Hi Frank,
Archives created in the OS X finder work fine, but there are a
couple common errors to watch out for...
Your tips were very helpful, these should be included in the
documentation!
That makes sense if you think about it, 'cause the archive file
simply takes the place of the root directory, but if you just grab
that "test" folder and tell the finder to make a new archive,
you'll get a zip file that looks like this:
test.zip
-test
--subdir
---text2.txt
--text1.txt
This was my mistake.
