I love it...

This is great, it took my a while to figure out how the game works. Perhaps you could have something that says you need to let the Zombies take a turn when the user runs out of moves and is pressing all the keys not understanding why his character doesn't move! I had to look at the documentation, which is not something I normally do when trying video games. If I cannot understand it I normally get rid of it and move on, I do wonder if I am the only person like this?

Including the source code is amazing too especially as I have just started to get into video games so I am sure there are tricks in here from the gurus :-)

Congratulations, very good work guys.

Jeff and I are wrapping up Zombies, our zombie-invasion game which
some folks here may remember from a while back. It now sports spiffy
3D graphics, animation, sound effects, special weapons, and so forth.

It's not yet ready for a public release -- we still need to put some
finishing touches on the manual and make a web page for it -- but the
program itself is done, as far as we can tell. We would appreciate
input from anyone here who is willing to beta-test it. Download it
here:

This is the Mac build. We have included the source code too, so feel
free to poke around.

Also, if anyone here has a Windows machine and wants to help us out,
I wouldn't mind assistance in making sure it runs properly there. I
think it should -- we're not using anything platform-specific that I
can think of -- but I just haven't found the time to fire up my
Windows box and test it out.

My hope is that we'll get all this wrapped up in the next week or so
and post a public release -- in October, the perfect time to have
undead hordes marauding on your monitor!

Many thanks,
- Joe
