But wouldn't you want to disable being able to move around a kill
zombies? Even after you abandon hope and the game ends, you can still
move around and play it.
We did discuss freezing the game and camera when menus are up, but
getting the game to a playable beta state took precedence over this.
Also, if you're zombitized, the camera doesn't move over to show the
new guy. It's easy to get turned around and it's a little hard to find
him.
I do agree that it's easy to get disoriented with the camera, which is
why in an earlier thread Joe had thought about limiting the motions
like Warcraft 3. It can be one of those catch-22s where limiting the
camera would be beneficial, but some players want the freedom of
movement. I suppose it would be possible to have both and have an
option to toggle camera movement.
