"Full screen mode" as I read it is not "make a window the size of the entire screen." Actually capturing the display has benefits that making a really big window just doesn't.



I'm responding to the idea of RB being able to do a WOWish project technologically, as is, since that's what the discussion is about, and I cannot see Quesa being able to handle it.

And I can. So can Joe Nastasi. Coincidentally, Joe and I both have a fair amount of experience actually making 3D games in REALbasic.

Your prejudice may be passably common, but it's still just prejudice. Please don't infect the newbies with it.

My "prejudice" comes from having used compiled Nanosaur to use Quesa and it just... sucking. Sure it isn't optimized to specifically suit Quesa, but RB3D isn't going to be much, if at all, better.
