Why does Renegades no longer compile under release 4?

What error message do you see?

If you see something about the mouse, it's possible you need Frank's Mouse Events Plug-in (http://developer.chaoticbox.com).

It's also possible that the code breaks due to changes in the current iteration of RB3D. I've noticed that Element3D replacing Object3D is usually the culprit.

Oh, I just realized -- there's could also a conflicting call because of the new Trimesh class. A custom Trimesh class was written because RB 5.5 doesn't have one built in.

We're not planning to update the code to 2005 just yet, but if there's a specific question you have concerning Renegades we'll do our best to answer it.
