Sound Effect resources?

As you can see I just "announced" one of my games.  One of the next  
steps I need to work on is the sounds for it... now I can drag out my  
keyboard and sound equipment and make my own, but I was wondering if  
there are any resources for free (as in beer) sounds and effects that  
I could use in my shareware games.
