Animation was only half of the problem so some points in the game will see only minor improvement. I will work on optimizing the rest by using a faster space partitioning system (much faster than an octree/quadtree--though very similar). I think this was where RB2005 really slowed (because of all the horrendous type casting I used).

I'm getting FPS in the high 20s to low 40s. Quite an improvement!
