Let me go into more detail for Mr.Fitz. (Im a student of his with this
problem).

It happens on both operating system (Mac & Windows).
it happens on 2005 r4, 2006
iv installed & reinstalled realbasic several times.
iv tryed mp3,aif,wav,mov all fail
it happens to newly created wav's and downloaded wavs.
iv tryed 4 wave programs on both mac and windows to save the files, didnt
help.
it happens in all cases of the program we run. by that i mean networked
computers, non-networked, fresh OS's, desktops and laptops.
the files can be loaded in as folderitems without problems, this just
requires more load time when the application starts. and is not as easy as
drag drop.

Regards,
Tim Dykes
