An update to the earlier Trimesh Particles demo, this time adding
greater functionality to the particles by controlling them via
object3Ds. Particles can now spin, scale, and even stay oriented
towards the camera (click the "orbit camera" checkbox).
For those who didn't see the first demo: The demo shows how to create a single explosion comprised of many particles using just one object. This helps get around Quesa's current slowness on having many objects on-screen at one time. <www.jcquan.com/RB/TrimeshParticles2.zip> the original demo can still be found at <www.jcquan.com/RB/TrimeshParticles.zip> == Jeff Quan jquan at mindspring dot com http://www.jcquan.com/JQportfolio _______________________________________________ Unsubscribe or switch delivery mode: <http://www.realsoftware.com/support/listmanager/> Search the archives of this list here: <http://support.realsoftware.com/listarchives/lists.html> |
