Na du kannst einen enum anlegen für Audiokanäle.
also enum "AudioChannels" mit "none", "one" und "two".
Im Code kannst du dann
dim a as AudioChannels
a=one
a=two
a=none
aber du kannst nicht wie bei einem Integer
a=3
zuweisen und dadurch einen logischen Fehler erzeugen.
Oder ums einfacher zu sagen:
oft nimmt man Integer Variablen für Statuswerte, wo nur einige erlaubt
sind. Und hierbei kann man den Werten Namen geben, die der Kompiler
überprüft.

runterschmeißen.
