Ich arbeite mit einem gratis Plugin von Alex Cohen, das den Vorteil hat,
dass es auch MySql > 4.1 anspricht, was das RealPlugin meines Wissens nicht
kann. Punkto Performance habe ich bisher keine Einwände:

Yout might want to try my CFDatabaseBase plugin. Its a different API
but it does support mySQL 4 and up.
