Hi Emile,

Thanks for the suggestion, but the real problem was that I could not rename
the file, so using a temporary file would not help as I still could not add
the extension. I did find a work around to the problem though. I still need
to post a bug report though.

Create the file in the TemporaryFolder (I think one exists under Windows),
make your work with it there, apply its extension when finished and then
move it to the location you want it to reside. (do not forget the usual test
on the target location folder before the move).
