Yes, you should have a proper Edit menu.
But from what I gather the real problem would arise with people trying to
Control-X/C/V in windows other than the main window. Control X/C/V should
work in every edit field in a Windows application, whether triggered from
the edit menu or not.
In fact I believe normal system editfields that you create by the API work
this way by default, and even include a right click menu if you don't
override it. I have no idea what you guys at Real are doing to make them
though. :)
