Dear Aaron and Joe,

This is getting ridiculous. I'm seeing red, but I'll try to keep it to a
tempered rant. <grin>

Please. What configuration dialog on ANY Windows program have you EVER seen
that has a menu. I'll tell you how many - NONE! However, Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C and
Ctrl+V work in everyone of them. Maybe you never use Windows programs. In
that case I'm telling you so that you know. Configuration dialogs DON'T HAVE
MENUS in Windows programs. If you have access to a PC that has MS Word on
it, start Word and choose Tools|Options. The resulting configuration dialog
has some text boxes (Click on the User Information tab for an example), but
NO MENU is presented to the user. Cut/Copy/Paste all work.

If we are talking about a Document Window, then OF COURSE there aught to be
a menu item for Cut/Copy/Paste. No one is saying there should not be. RB
kindly helps make that easy. Under Windows, though - apparently unlike the
Mac - Modal configuration dialogs don't have menus. Cut/Copy/Paste should
still work! They did in earlier versions of REALbasic. They work "sort of"
in 5.5.2 (using Shift+Ins etc.) but not with the modern keystroke
equivalents (Ctrl+X, Ctrl+C, Ctrl+V).

All Steve and I are asking for you to do is fix what used to work in RB, but
is currently broken.

Respectfully, but with amazement that this bug report was ever questioned.

Kamm
