Well, there's your problem. From my experience, there are a number of
things that must be checked/changed before any complex app is ready to
run on Windows

I have had something like this happen when I've drag-copied my built app into VPC, overwriting an older one in the process. "Recycling" the old one before copying in the new one took care of it.

My VPC has both 98 and XP sandboxes, and it happened in both.
