I read somewhere that folder.item(0) is the parent folder. I'm not sure
if that's true, but if it is then if you access that, it might be the
problem.

hard drive, like it's following an alias. Unless I did something
stupid, I am sure that I said, "If f.Directory and f.Alias=False
then". Are there other things that can cause loops like this other
than aliases?
