absolutely.
my fix was a workaround. ultimately, the rb mysql plugin needs to be updated
to be able to use the mysql's newer password encryption.
but, then again, mysql 4.1.x is still beta, so technically rb isn't "behind"
really.
but it should be dealt with pretty soon i would think.
