I don't see how one's perception of an outcome has anything to do with
adding a vote to a request. I'm most likely misunderstanding you, but you
seem to want to discourage the requests. Writing a plugin is simply not in
everyone's bag of tricks.
In the upcoming US election, if you think Mr. Nader is the best candidate, I
would hope that even though he will not win (now that I know!), you'd go
ahead and vote for him with no regard to the outcome.
Image, video and audio are the Macs strengths, these core technologies build
upon these. It would be a shame to see REAL ignore this, IMO. Seems to me,
there's enough time, if the decision is made to add it.
