Norton AutoProtect conflict

Has anyone seen a conflict with Norton Anti Virus' AutoProtect feature?

Some of my users are reporting a consistent conflict that I can't reproduce.

I create a temporary file using TemporaryFolder, and then use 
OpenAsMovie on it.  For these users, OpenAsMovie returns Nil if 
AutoProtect is on, otherwise it suceeds.
Has anyone else seen this?
