I'm of the view that 4D these days is a ripoff (and especially its upgrade
charges). That's why I (and I assume many others) have left it behind. Also,
compared to products like RB (even when using with commercial backend DBs),
you can produce cost effective, elegant, native apps, rather than cumbersome
bloatware with a lowest common denominator interface.
