Hello all, i've been following this thread since this morning,
well, it does relate to me because I have a project that's been
put on hold until i could get a good encryption algorithm

that may not be a "great" encryption algorithm but it's a nice
tutorial on the basics of encryption and since it's VB code it
is easily converted to RB :)

the only problem i have about making my own encryption
routine like that is that i don't know how/were to store the key
other than that :) seems like it would work very well
