JPEGs should be automatically handled by QuickTime -- if you're using a machine that does not have QuickTime installed, you'll need to 1) require QuickTime, 2) find a plugin that reads JPEGs without QuickTime, or 3) convert the images to a native type (eg, .BMP for Windows).
