The door is welded shut not because we think stairs are a bad idea, but
because there's nothing in the stairwell but a hundred-foot drop. If we did
the engineering work necessary to support the features you are asking for,
there would no longer be trouble there to get into.

I suggest looking into feedback database entry 'tbvktmcv'.
