ok .... imagine large flat rocks with handles and a bulls eye target a
few hundred feet away.

all done on very nice slippery ice.

try sliding a rock as close to the middle as you can.

your opponent gets to try and knock yours out of the way.

like shuffle board but with enough weight to one of the rocks to
really hurt someone if you happen to heave it really hard ...

Oh, so it's a combination of the Olympic discus throw and archery
then... :)

Don't leave out the best part... There are guys who run in front of the moving rock and feverishly brush the ice with brooms in an attempt to "groom" the ice to influence the
trajectory of the rock.  This stuff is just too bizarre to make up!


It gets real interesting when you try it bare foot !
