I'll create an empty app to see if it is me who is messing thing up.

FWIW, you shouldn't be able to mess it up at all. I would strip down your current project until the problem goes away -- then put stuff back in until the problem comes back. Then submit the stripped down project as a bug report so we can fix the issue.
