Does such a control exist? And more importantly, what do you fellow Mac OSX users have at the foot of your apps - do you have a similar thing? It's not a part of the RB framework, but there are 3rd party ways of getting a status bar. For example, the Windows Functionality Suite has a StatusBar class that you can use for free.
