Service Application & libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0

I built a ServiceApplication, but when I tried to run it on a remote 
machine I got:
"libgdk-x11-2.0.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or 
directory"
Isn't libgdk part of the GUI? And isn't a ServiceApplication not 
supposed to need that?
