I stumbled across something that I didn't know I could do. When it
worked, I began to wonder: Am I doing this correct, or is this just a
side-effect of something. My main concern is that it will continue to
work in the future. Is this a supported use for what I'm doing?
Here is what I did. I needed to call the Action event of a menu item.
So in my App class, I called FileCreateNew_Action and it called the menu
handler called FileCreateNew (as it appears in the IDE editor.)
The reason I even tried that was because I had seen the items called
that in the debugger and figured I'd give it a shot.
Again, what I'm wondering is if this is the correct use, or if I just
stumbled upon a thing that works for now, but may be unsupported quickly.
Thanks,
