I had other reasons for want to do a clean install (clean up two
years worth of junk on my comp), but you should backup anyway before
doing something major like an OS upgrade.
Critical things to save:
~/
various things from /Library (I saved /Library/Fonts, /Library/
WebServer, etc)
Don't be scared! Upgrading my iBook to Tiger is one of the smartest
things I've done to my old laptop! I love it!

You're scaring me! I just came back from the presentation at the

confidence. Better go over my backups before proceeding...

Hi folks.
I just made a mess of installing Tiger. Fortunately I backed up
everything before installing. I am in the process of manually
transferring lots of things and will eventually get everything
working again.
Could someone send me an email reply to test my new settings.
Thanks,
Terry
PS. I hope there aren't a
