I've not bought Tiger... I'm debating on going through the hassle of going through the media exchange program... my 733mHz G4 does not have a DVD drive... We do have an old, slow iMac G3 running 9.2.2 and they are networked, but I don't think I can install it on my G4 that way from the iMac... <sigh>

Karen,

Try this: Shut down your G4. Put the DVD into your iMac's DVD drive. Shut down the computer and start it up in Target Disk Mode (hold down the T key). Hook a Firewire cable between the two computers. Start up your G4 with the Option key held down - this should present you with a list of disks that can start up the computer, hopefully including the Tiger DVD.

And don't call me if it doesn't work. :)

PS - And now I've noticed that you haven't even purchased it yet. :) Well, if you do...
