Christian,
I think that a lot of people find using your plugins intimidating
because it is difficult to decipher which plugin does what from
your web
site. 8000 functions is a little bit overwhelming and in reality these
are spread out over a number of plugins. I find how other sites list
their plugins individually with links to a list of that particular
plugin's functions and methods much easier to determine what I need to
get the job done. I know you are busy but if you would overhaul your
site to make it easier to figure out which plugin does what I think a
lot more people would be using them and purchasing licenses.
I fully confirm this. Although I own a license for the full set, I
seldom use MBS' plugins. I even know Cocoa quite well, but I never
used CF. Thus, getting most out of MBS' plugins is most often a
very hard job.
I'd be happy to get more detailed manuals. Often, I find just two lines
of explanation. At least for me, that's far too less.
Christian, don't misunderstand me, I'm all in all impressed of your
coding work. Nevertheless, I have big problems using them.
All in all means, that there are part I'm kind of frustrated with.
To be specific, its the implementation of WebKit. Since more than half
a year I tested this functionality several times. While some parts of
WebKit
seem to work, others don't. This very problem forced me not to jump
deeper
in your plugins.
Kinds,
Stefan
