or work correctly. Our network setup is probably not standard, but we
rent office space and a network point from a larger company. They have
their own firewall/router setup for their network, and if you use one of
their machines to check the external IP you will get the external IP of
their router (as expected). We have our own firewall/router on their
network with all our machines behind it - we all gateway through that
machine which in turns uses their router to give us an internet
connection. dyndns reports my external IP as the IP of our firewall
_within their network_. What I suspect is being reported is the
HTTP_X_FORWARDED_FOR apache server variable and not REMOTE_ADDR (which
would return the correct real external IP)
