Listbox.lastindex after listbox.removerow

listbox.lastindex returns the row index of the last item added in a list,
however, after performing a listbox.removerow, lastindex is unchanged, and
referencing listbox.lastindex will give an out of bounds error. 
 
Is this the expected behaviour?
