I have seen a lot of programs out there that accept plugins. I am about to
start writing a program that will allow a user to load a plugin to add
extended featuers to my program, but am having problems with one main
area.....

Is RB able to compile a plugin? (IE: not a .exe, but like a .so on linux, or
a .dll on win32).

If so, can anyone offer advice on how to make the maln appliction load it,
and recognize the functions therein?

If it is NOT possible for RB to compile a plugin type binary, what other
methods can you reccommend?
