I've been using the beta now for 2 hours, and I must say .... my first opinion was very wrong. This version is far from stable and far from usable. I had high hopes for this version and it installed flawlessly.
It even started much faster and seemed so good. Boy was I wrong.

Simple tasks are not working and the interface slows down after a while. It really started slowing down when I got a couple of "crashes". I can't see what went wrong because RB just vanished ... without any notice. It happened when I wanted to build my app.

Sorry Realsoftware, but you do have a couple of betas to go before release.

Here are some bugs I found.

1) The # sign can't be introduced in the properties window (for captions ...). You need to copy paste it because when you click ALT-GR, it works like a ENTER 2) You can't use backspace when mistyping something in the value of a constant.
3) Window.Maximize doesn't do anything
4) Can't build a simple app (one menu, 2 screens, 3 lines of code in the open event, some constants for my menu). See the vanishing thing described.

If you are looking for Beta testers, I'm always willing to do so. But calling this Beta2 is not what I call beta.
This is more like an Alfa test.

Met vriendelijke groeten,
Bien à vous,
Kind regards,
