But youthink it's not possible to make a chat that always passes thru
the server? Something like
<cmd>chat</cmd><to>RemoteIP</to><msg>MessageToSend</msg>#END
I think it could work. Maybe I can try alone, but I need your help
for 2 things:
• How can I make the buddy list in your last version of Little
Server and Little Client?
• How can I tell the server that a screen/name corresponds at an
IP?
And the last question:
In your Little Client, what was the "Who's here?" button for? The
only answer I get from that on both clients is 127.0.0.1#END
Thank you
Nick

getting around NATs and Firewalls is beyond my abilities. The
Little Server and Little Client assume that any IP addresses you
might find (or try to use) can actually be accessed directly.

Lance,
There's a small problem: the first thing I asked you in the very
first email: do all the clients have to forward the ports of the
routers to enable that chat?
All the other stuff is ok
Thanx
Nick
