Hello Nug,
I have recently been doing SuDoku puzzles on the Internet and in books. You
may have heard of these puzzles before, or maybe not, but you can still help
me. Instead of paying for the books, I want to create a SuDoku puzzle
generator. The problem is, I don't have a clue how to generate a puzzle and
ensure that it can be solved properly.
OK, for those who do not know what SuDoku is, it is a number-placement
puzzle game with a 9x9 grid. The grid is divided into 9 large boxes of 9
squares each. You must have the numbers 1-9 in each row, column, and box of
9 squares. The object is to complete all rows and columns without
duplicating the same number in a row or column.
Now then, that is not the best explanation, so if you want a better one, go
to http://www.sudoku.com/.
What I want to do is have a program that generates a puzzle and checks to
ensure that it is solvable and then have a set up of editfields for the user
to enter the numbers into. Any help appreciated!!!
 Thanks in advance,
 Tommy Single
