I don't believe that Code Warrior will be updated for Intel Mac, but the market for PPC binaries isn't going to disappear for a long time yet. (mind you long is very relative in this industry).

The fact that it can now work with NIB files and compile Objective C puts it (in todays environment) on par with Xcode (you can even compile Xcode projects from CW), so I'm guessing it's popularity / relevance is going to come down to just how optimised their compiler is.

This I suspect is going to make it much easier for people with CW projects to move them over to Xcode once the market begins to move in that direction though...

CodeWarrior 10 for Mac has just been announced. The pro edition even seems reasonably priced.

I'm confused a bit, because I thought CW was end-of-lifed with the onset of the Intel Macs, and XCode ruled from now on. Steve would certainly have us think so. :-)

I have an older version of CW, but have used it for little more than a learning tool. My serious development efforts, to this point, have been with RB.

I'm interested in anyone's opinion in whether investing further in CW is warranted, when learning to work in other environments when developing for Mac.
