These people seem to have pretty good protection. Examine the sample document.

I'm not overly paranoid about the security of these documents, If
people want to get their hands on an editable form of the manual and
are willing to spend money on OCR software to do it, then good for
them. I just don't want to make it so easy to do.

I've run into instances in the past (another industry) where I wrote
safety manuals for a company, and it took about 2 weeks before I
found instances of competitor's manuals who had clearly copied /
pasted my own work straight into their own manuals.

This may not sound like a huge deal, but the company I worked for
spent $$$ getting my work checked by consultants in the workplace
safety and Occupational Health and Safety Industry, and I spent
hundreds of hours revising these safety manuals as per their
recommendations.

Having competitors copy and paste the end product into their own
manuals angered me slightly...

So, I just want a way to provide PDF manuals to people, without the
possibility of them copying and pasting the contents of my manuals.

Any Ideas,

Tom
