I'm using a server running SMB as an intermediary to transfer files since my PowerBook can't see the Virtual PC running on it and verse visa.

Hmmm Could i do it from another mac Running OSX? if so, how? I'm pretty clueless about that kind of stuff.

Anyway, after about 81 hours of installing,

It did not take all that long to install on my new Dual core 2.3 GHz PowerMac

I finally got a small demo application moved over and it would not run. So I jumped into the Terminal and typed "./MyApplication" and got a curious complaint about libstdc++ not being there!

A little searching around the net and I found this command that did the trick:

        sudo apt-get install libstdc++5

Thanks for that ... if I can ever find a way to transfer files to the VPC Ubuntu virtual machine it will come in handy!
