RB mp3 to iPod

Anyone know if it's possible to send an MP3 from an RB application to iTunes, then to an iPod and then delete that entry from iTunes. 

Sort of a round about way of getting what "you" want to an iPod.

Maybe Applescript or something? And I know nothing about Applescript.
