Hi all,

For future REALbasic version,
All Platforms.

I just get an idea: what about a brand new window that appears only after the "Build the application" process and that displays statistics and other informations about the newly created window. Some of them can be:

a. This application does not have an Icon,

b. This application does not have an About window,

c. This application does not have a Preferences window,

d. This application does not use the following code present in the project:
List of the non used Methods, Functions, Modules, Thread, Images, ...

e. Informations about the Application:
        a. Platform name
        b. Application size (and minimum required RAM ?)
        c. Other usefull informations (tbd)
        d. Specially related platform information
                needs QuickTime,
needs OLE xyz (name, version, whatever)
                needs Microsoft Office...
        e. Demo end date (in the demo state)
        f. Size of the largest/taller window (at design time)...

now, I am at a loss of ideas. But you get the point: make an application build report that helps the developer to do a better job, get a better REALbasic development environment.

A preference set to True (display that information) in the Pro version and set to False (do not displays that information) in the standard / demo version can be a good thing.

Listers, RS people, is this worth a feature request ?
[It may be the time to make feature requests since we will start a new release start area (alpha, beta and fc)]

Regards,

Emile
