With 2005/2006 moving up to at least 768 MB will give a noticeable
performance increase during compiles.

RB 5.5.5. experience:

Having installed 512 MByte RAM, the intel iMac is roughly as fast as
a mac mini - based on observations, not exact benchmarks. _______________________________________________
