My product (and the forthcoming REALbasic version) creates a JFile type
database (.PDB file) and places it in the users Files to install folder,
which when the user presses their hotsync button, gets installed on the Palm
handheld device.  I also then retrieve the database from the handheld and
provide you with all the record information.

Note that this is for creating specific databases on the Palm (ie: inventory
lists, movie/music databases, etc), not for working with the address book,
calendar, etc.  So, in reality, this may not be what you want, but I thought
I'd give you the information just in case it was something you might be able
to use. :)
