RB and Linux .so libs

Hi,

Does anyone have an example on how to call a Linux library (generally 
somewhere in /usr/lib/ with the name somelib.so)
I would love to see how you make a declare to it and use it.

Maybe the people at Einhugur did something like this in their plugins ?
