CGI on Linux, will this Work?

Hi Folks,

I am considering using the following design for an application:

1) RB Client using HTTP / HTTPS connection to Apache on Linux
2) Data will be sent via http POST (data up to 512K)
3) Apache on Linux will use CGI to call RB command line programs
4) RB command line programs will use ODBC to talk to database

Will RB have any problems with this scenario?
