Am I missing something, or does RB2006 -not- support this critical feature
that was in RB 5.5.5 and earlier?
In RB 5.5.5, if your application contained multiple languages, you could
instantly switch the window editors to display UI items using any of the
languages using Edit:Project Settings.
This capability is critical for doing an app in multiple languages, since
many of the controls need to be seen, moved, and resized in each langugage
to make sure that everything displays and "fits" properly.
RB2006 doesn't seem to support this. Clicking on the application object,
there are no controls in the Appearance section to set Region and Language.
Setting Region and Language in Build Settings does NOT switch the editable
window UI to the chosen language; it always stays in English.
Building the app and then -running- it to see how things look isn't good
enough. You need to be able to open each window in the editor and see the
UI controls displayed that way to be able to hit and adjust everything.
Does this need to be filed as a feature request? Without this functionality,
there's no way I can fully switch over to RB2006 for maintaining my project;
I'm stuck with keeping it in RB 5.5.5 format and then opening in RB2006 for
compile-and-testing ony, and this is a clumsy alternative.
