Anyone have any idea? Could this be my fault tho I haven't a clue
where these calls even originated from.
Is libobjc.A.dylib one of RB's dylibs, or the OS's?
It is my impression that the latest releases of RB2006 generate many
more mysterious, untraceable, crashes in my app than RB2005. What do
others find?
As an example, I have a single method that often crashes with an error
like the one below, but with:
0 rbframework.dylib 0x00cbd4f4 memoryGetUShort + 112
Problem is that calling this same method artifically 10's of millions
of times from a button never trips up this m.short() access, so
obviously my code must be OK, leaving to conclude that it's the
compiler's fault when the app is normally run by a user. Very
frustrating.
Such bugs are enough to kill an app's usefulness.
