Yes, you're right. I was doing so since I knew I'd use the app only for ones in my family.

Also, I thought there are times where an user might spend time to look for their email's account informations. It's faster to use mine but also a problem: one can observe what's being sent over a network (and I can't encrypt that).

It's probably better that your user knows the email is being sent and what it contains Some might consider your application spyware if it secretly reports back
