I'm using a G5 PPC iMac 20"- 2MHz - 1GB Ram - OSX 10.4.7.

I have open:

Mail, Safari, NetNewsWire Lite 2.1, REALbasic 2006r3, REALbasic 5.5.5 OSX, Classic 9.2, REALbasic5.5.5 Classic.

My computer is using 295 MB of Ram and has 728 MB free memory.

If you are using 1.2 GB of Ram with less running, something is pretty weird.

REALbasic 2K6r3 alone is using 532MB of real memory (according to Activity Monitor, and 20% of my CPU). Firefox 180 (with maybe half a dozen pages open), NetNewsWire Lite 70, Preview (with only the User's Guide open) 65 and SQLite Database Browser (with one small database open) 65.

I'm absolutely at a loss why we should be seeing such a difference, unless you only have tiny projects open in REALbasic.
